Position Summary:
Perform accounting function such as general ledger, taxation, recording, analysis and reporting accounting data. Performs special studies and analysis to support compliance to audit, tax and corporate reporting.
What You Will Do:
General Ledger

• Support month end close activities. Perform accounting functions such as :

• Journal voucher preparation and posting
• Payroll review, updates and reconciliation.
• Headcount analysis
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Perform month end forex revaluation, review the reasonableness
• Monthly close analysis, expenditure variance analysis

• Handle contract maintenance process, ensure proper control and retention
• Assist management in various ad-hoc analyses and reporting.
• Support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Corporate / management reporting
• Support audit, tax, legal, insurance and secretarial related matters
• Support government survey compiling & submission and regulatory related reporting
• Perform ICS independent testing to ensure compliance to ICS requirement.
• Other key responsibilities are:

• Internal and external audit compliance and coordination
• Review and ensure full compliance with company accounting policies
• Drive for process improvement / simplification

Education (Minimum Level)

• Bachelor's

Field of Study
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or possess a professional qualification recognized by MIA
Years of Experience (Minimum)

• Fresh Graduates are welcomed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference to those with audit and reporting experience from manufacturing environment.
• Possess excellent financial analytical skills, result oriented and fast learner.
• Able to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced manufacturing environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent in communication, proactive, self-motivated and good team player.
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal supervision / direction.
• Possess excellent excel skills and familiar with advanced ERP system
