Job description
Perform multiple accounting and finance support functions such as but not limited to A/P, A/R, general ledger journal entries, cash applications, order entry, collections, reconciliation, month end close, and bank transactions and payments (Banamex & Wells Fargo). Manage digital accounting. Provide vacation/sick relief coverage for import sales coordinator. Monitor transactions in customer websites. Provide general office support. Must be familiar with currency exchange pesos/dollars and able to coordinate with Mexican preparers and auditors. Must be bilingual, both spoken and written.
Requirements:- Research proof of deliveries
- Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc. (Record retention)
- Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming/outgoing mail (includes all mail / Fed*Ex/ Postage)
- Order Office Supplies
- Business licenses, permits & certificates
- Copier maintenance
- Process Donation requests
- Invoice review and approval
- May generate and distribute reports
- Answers phone, takes messages, provides information, or redirects calls as appropriate.
- Checks documents for accuracy and completeness, verifies information, and prepares forms.
- Gathers, tabulates, and posts information and/or records.
- Manage wire transfers
- Work aging time reports and work with customers for collections
- Verify statements to payment details
- Work credits with customers
- Daily Deposits and bank verification to statements
- Identify exchange rates daily and adjust daily
- Balance monthly and yearly earnings and balances
- Review and approve invoices
