Job description
We are looking for an Accounts Executive cum Admin to join our team and support in the day-to-day administrative and accounting operations of the company. Your main duties include handling of full set of Accounts and carrying out the company's administrative duties. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be willing to learn, responsible and a team player. Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Financial and Management reports, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable (eg: Suppliers Invoices, Purchase Order, Goods Received Note & Payments) & Cash Flow matters
- Handle full sets of accounts (GL, AR, AP, TB, Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statement)
- Day-to-day data entry and accounting entries via Autocount/UBS accounting system
- Perform month end & year end closing activities
- Carry out Bank Reconciliation & Fixed Assets Register
- Review Debtors / Creditors Ledgers and perform reconciliations
- Handling payments and payroll administration and processing (HR duties)
- Prepare schedules and analysis for statutory audit/year-end audit
- Liaison with Auditors, Company Secretary, Tax Agent and Bank Officers
- Inventory management (Receiving stock, Stock take)
- Maintain contact lists, answer and direct phone calls
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, etc
- Ensure all accounts transactions are updated timely and accurately
- Oversee day-to-day operation and upkeep of office administrative facilities
- Undertake any other tasks and/or responsibilities that may be assigned by the management from time to time
Job Requirement(s):
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Accountancy / LCCI or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, AIA)
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in Finance Accounting related field
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, Spreadsheet, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word & Computerized Accounting Software / System
- Knowledge in UBS Accounting Software and/or Autocount will be an added advantage
- Required language(s) English and Bahasa Malaysia (as the role requires candidate to liaise with local employees and vendors)
- Fresh graduates / entry level applicants are encouraged to apply
