The Oasis at Coral Reef is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to work with seniors in our assisted living and memory care community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors in a healthcare setting and a passion for improving their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily recreational and social activities for residents
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in activities, promoting socialization and physical engagement
• Foster a positive and inclusive community culture through resident engagement
• Maintain accurate records of activities, participation, and feedback
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of community newsletters and event calendars
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents
• Attend required trainings and meetings

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience working with seniors with Alzheimer's, dementia, and Parkinson's in a healthcare setting
• Experience with event planning and coordination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
