Job description

We are looking for someone with a friendly, upbeat personality to work at our front office space. This position would be 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) from 8:30-4:30.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers when they come in and processing the intake of paperwork.
  • Answering Phone Calls and collecting basic information from existing clients and getting them connected with the right team member within our firm or for new potential clients, providing them with handouts on pricing and services.
  • Performing administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly. Including maintaining online workflow software, scheduling appointments and updating calendars, updating client contact information, e-filing and physical mailing of tax returns and forms, scanning and saving documents to client portals and internal folders, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining team emails and answering questions as knowledge allows.
  • Following and maintaining electronic workflow systems, following up on incomplete tasks, assisting in overall office organization and keeping everyone on time.
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies, office decor, and office drinks/snacks, along with cleaning the office weekly.
  • Getting data and answers from clients at the beginning of tax engagements and putting tax returns in the workflow system and entering the basic data for tax returns.
  • Basic data entry for accounting clients using QBO and QuickBooks Desktop and assisting with data entry on various forms for our business and clients.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • High level of Computer and Technology
  • High level of Customer Service
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
  • Experience or Associates degree in related industry is preferred, but not required
  • Customer Service/Relations or Office Experience is required

Hourly pay will be between $14-$16, depending on experience. We have 8 paid holidays, 5 vacation days, 3 sick days. We offer 401k with an employer match. However, we are not able to offer health insurance due to the size of our firm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
