- Coordinate the administrative operations of the Physics Department.
- Coordinates new or existing departmental projects or programs and identifies sources of funds.
- Prepares analysis or reports as required for projects or programs.
- Prepares budgets and monitors expenditures.
- Conduct cost studies and oversees preparation of various administrative issues.
- Prepares statistical reports. Assists in speech and report preparation in response to official inquiries.
- Provides assistance in negotiation, administration and termination of contracts and grants.
- Maintains contact and liaison with other University offices or external agencies in connection with grant and research activities.
- Coordinate special projects for the department.
- Will supervise two (2) or more full-time employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Four (4) of experience in administration or business management including at least two (2) years as the administrative assistant level or the equivalent experience.
- Supervisory experience.
