A high-volume auto dealership is seeking an Experienced Automotive Bookkeeper. Experience is preferred.

The Bookkeeper is responsible for deposits, allocations, and posting into proper journals and ensures transaction backup documents are properly maintained and balanced. The Bookkeeper has strong skills in problem-solving, documentation, and research. In addition, he or she maintains an adequate system of accounting records and develops periodic financial reports that comply with generally accepted accounting principles. A banking background is useful.

The ideal candidate is an experienced automotive bookkeeping professional. You must be reliable and dependable. Knowledge of and experience with the ADP or Reynolds & Reynolds DMS systems is a plus. We seek someone with a proven track record for success, and who takes pride in his or her careful and accurate working style. Responsibilities:

• Making daily bank deposits of all sorts
• Posting to proper accounts
• Balance out cash sales daily
• Filing receipts and such
• Making 8300 reports
• Any other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

We prefer a candidate with at least two years of experience in a position of similar responsibility. He or she must be detail-oriented and good with numbers and proficient with accounting software.
