JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Market at Roth is currently looking for an upbeat and energetic Barista, or Coffee Bar Attendant that is responsible for creating orders as well as making high-quality beverages, specialty hot and cold drinks, preparing food orders, working the cash register, and cleaning and stocking the market. Baristas are expected to do all these tasks quickly and efficiently while also making sure to form good customer relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and any Market drinks that meet our high-quality standards.
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite efficient manner while serving all customers quickly and efficiently
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all menu offerings at The Market .
- Observe all relevant health and safety standards
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills
- Reliable transportation
