Bartender Mixologist

starting at $16.30 to $18.00 an hour plus Gratuities

Overview:

Professional Bartender for elegant classic bar in downtown luxury hotel with weekend entertainment. Position is part time requires 2-4 shifts weekly. Bartender will service other food outlets through lobby bar.

Classification: Non- Exempt

Reports to: F&B Supervisors and F&B Manager

Essential Functions:

• Candidates must have knowledge of current trends in the mixology/bar industry
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar;
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter;
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Bartender/Mixologist will be responsible for cleanliness and organization of bar
• Maintain inventory and daily requisitions.
• At all times provides a favorable image of the hotel to promote its aim and objectives.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees and fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate

Experience:

• Two or more years’ experience in full service restaurant or hotel restaurant with a luxury property or brand preferred

Physical Demands:

• Regularly works in both Indoor and outdoor environments.
• Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting or lifting overhead 20-50 or more pounds.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours at a time
