Job description
Overall in-charge of :a) Patrolling and inspecting for defects, failures and abnormalities on boilers, demin water/ boiler feed water system and chemical skids.
b) Confirming and log-in operating status of boilers and its auxiliary system, demin water and boiler feed water system and chemical pumping.
c) Confirming and log-in boiler water analysis and to take necessary action on water quality problem / trouble shooting.
d) Confirming boiler chemicals inventory and unit consumption rates for chemicals and fuels.
e) Carrying-out minor repair work such as small leakages and chemical pump repair of boiler.
f) Confirming steam balance with Boardman.
- Prepare shift boiler report on boiler operating status, maintenance / repair, Boiler Feed Water (BFW) quality, steam balance, chemicals consumption and defects or failures.
- Prepare and review manuals and standards for boiler operation.
- Prepare schedules, checklist and spare parts for DOSH annual inspection.
- Supervise boiler maintenance repair and inspection works.
