PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Computing Services Initiatives
Plan and manage the Computing Services’ strategies and initiatives, to support MISC Group’s business strategies and initiatives.
Computing Services Development and Implementation
Plan and manage the procurement strategies, tender and contract evaluation, design development and implementation for Computing Services initiatives to ensure successful implementation as per project objectives and plans.
Computing Services Maintenance and Support
Plan and manage the implementation of Computing Services’ maintenance and support initiatives to ensure operational excellence through cost-effective and high system availability and integrity to best support the Group’s business and operational requirements.
ICT Disaster Recovery Management
Manage the ICT Disaster Recovery Plan relating to Computing Services to ensure that critical business functions can either maintain or quickly resume in the event of disaster.
Customer Service Knowledge Management
Manage the development, review of infrastructure guidelines, standards and practices to provide best approaches/ solutions, lessons learnt, etc. to support operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Computing Services deliverables/ services.
People Development
Develop, motivate and coach subordinates to develop capabilities within the Computing Services team.
EXPECTED
Support SM Computing Services in ensuring Computing Services are delivered to various Group users (users include MISC, ALAM, MHB and AET) with different budget, expectations, processes, service levels, technology, global locations/ time zones in the most timely and efficient manner within Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
Integrating various technologies within MISC Group with global presence in different time zones and relevant external parties to support a highly secure and reliable MISC Group ICT infrastructure and computing services.
Manage different vendors across various global locations to ensure cost efficiencies without compromising system delivery.

EXPERIENCE:
§ At least 10 - 12 years of working experience in IT industry with specific experience in managing Computing Services.
§ Minimum of 3 - 5 years of specific experience in managing various ICT Computing development and implementation projects, such as servers, storage, system and database management.
