1. Communicate regularly with customers in a polite and professional manner and solve daily issues (while coordinating with internal colleagues, as necessary)
2. Research rates and routings; create routing orders, quotations and handle bookings from customers
3. Handle customer enquiry and inform customers about other available services to gain additional business
4. Update customers on local/international rules and regulations
5. Follow up with origin / local offices on shipment status
6. Collect and review all commercial and shipping documents from the customer or origin office in advance of shipment execution.
7. Professionally and proactively update customers with shipment status; update overseas offices and customers about potential delays or unusual circumstances
8. Arrange the haulage/ transport based on customer request and monitor tightly to ensure on time pick-up and delivery.
9. Review the job file checklist to ensure all required actions have been completed
10. Provide timely feedback to Superior and Customers for shipment discrepancies
11. Create reports per instructions from Sales or according to customer requirements
12. Update internal parties with the most up-to-date Quotations / routing orders / SOPs
13. Escalate potential issues and ensure corrective actions are taken in accordance with business guidelines and customer requirements
14. Monitor and guide Operation Team to ensure smooth operation.

Job Requirement

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Logistic/ Transportation/ Warehousing/ Inventory Management or equivalent.

2. Preferable with 3 years of working experience in forwarder industry and familiar with Import & Export procedure.

3. Required Language: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia

4. Excellent negotiation skills and communication skills, both verbal and written,

5. Self-motivated, dynamic, responsible, good team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
