Job Title: Cybersecurity Program Coordinator

Work Location

· Washington, DC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field

· 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

· Demonstrated understanding of functional cybersecurity concepts

· Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

· Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone manners

· Excellent writing skills, proficient in proofreading and formatting technical and policy documents

· Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO, PCI) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

· Provide executive support and administrative assistance to the IT organization

· Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the job

· Plan and coordinate events such as training sessions, workshops, and conferences

· Support workforce development activities, including identifying training needs and coordinating training programs

· Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulations

· Assist with the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies and procedures

· Support the development of risk management strategies and risk assessments

· Perform analysis and reporting on cybersecurity-related data and metrics

· Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cybersecurity incidents

· Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
