Job Summary

This posting is for a primarily delivery position for an indoor hydroponic farm and produce packaging facility, starting immediately. We operate year round in North Columbus, near the Hudson/Weber I-71 exits, minutes from the OSU campus and Clintonville.

We're looking for a driver to load the truck, make local deliveries and occasionally help pack sprouts. Our ideal candidate is looking for around 25-30 hours per week, is able to come in at 7 or 8am and able help with harvesting before/after deliveries, and can work Monday, Weds, Thurs, Friday. (with possible optional Saturday shift)

Otherwise, if your schedule doesn't quite match that, respond with your exact availability (start and end times for each day of week) and we may be able to work something out.

Packaging and cleaning help are sometimes needed back at the facility. Duties may include but not limited to: washing, carrying and packaging bulk produce, cleaning equipment, loading trucks, cleaning truck.

The driver position requires a fit person able to climb in and out of back of a tall box truck and carry 30 lbs up stairs occasionally. The truck is a 18ft straight box truck; CDL not required but experience and comfort driving larger vehicles a plus. Driving record and license will be checked before hire; doesn't need to be perfect, but suspended licenses or 3+ moving violations in last 2 years will automatically disqualify.

Work references are very helpful in getting hired! Have them on hand when you apply.
