• Prepare construction budget according to plans, specifications and blueprints
• Obtain bids and pricing from vendors and subcontractors
• Resolve cost discrepancies
• Attend bid meetings and owner meetings
• Interface with Project Managers, executives, architects, engineers and other stakeholders
• Survey potential sites for suitability and cost
• Perform hard bids, negotiated bids, and conceptual estimates

• 5+ years of drywall estimating experience
• Must have experience with drywall, metal studs, and heavy gauge steel studs
• Ability to complete hard bids as well as negotiated / conceptual bidding
• Past experience with design build projects
• Proficient with Onscreen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and other estimating software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead a team with minimal supervision
