Job Description:

• To assist in managing daily operational activities specifically in electrical parts in order to ensure the daily production targets are met

• Analyzes and defines electrical equipment problems to improve quality and productivity, to repair damaged equipment, to save money and to improve production line up-time

• Communicates and coordinates with Maintenance personnel to provide electrical technical expertise and support on the full-range of electrical maintenance projects and programs to reduce maintenance costs and to avoid costly downtime

• Responsible for safe and efficient electrical maintenance function for both plants and other associated infrastructures

• To assist in managing, monitoring, reviewing and improving the electrical workshop maintenance and up-keeping progress

• Diagnose the technical issue encountered and monitor the maintenance of switch boards and control system of mill

• To provide technical guidance and expertise, ensuring optimal performance of mill operation

• To ensure safe working condition by complying with environmental standards, rules & regulations as set by relevant authorities and adherence to Company’s SOPs

• To be involved in the analyzing and interpretation of data, preparation of reports and documentation

• To actively contribute to the development and improvement of mill’s automation for process improvement

• To assist in any other ad-hoc task assigned by Mill Management

Job Requirement:

• Must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Knowledge in PLC Programming is an additional advantage.

• At least 1 year working experience in related field

• Ability to work independently, based on shift/ on call/ overtime

• Physically fit, committed and trustworthy

• Possess good communication and problem solving skill

• Willing to work in Bintulu & to be based on Palm Oil Mill

• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From RM2,000.00 per month
