Description:

• Electronics Test Technician conducts a variety of electronic and electro mechanical tests on electronic systems, assemblies, sub assemblies and parts to ensure product operation in accordance with specifications.
• Applies knowledge of electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
• Troubleshoots non-conforming or malfunctioning product down to the component level.
• Ability to use schematics and original specifications as the guide to test product.
• Uses hand tools such as multi meters, voltage meters, oscilloscopes, etc to perform electrical inspections and tests.

Qualifications:

• AS Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, or a similar field
• Experience troubleshooting electronics with hand tools to the component level
• Experience soldering
• Experience with electrical testing such as hip
