About Our Client
I am currently working with a renowned manufacturing known to serve multiple reputable MNCs globally. This current company is based in Johor Bahru and are looking for a new Engineering Director to support them in enhancing their capabilities within the engineering team.
Job Description
- Responsible to organise and lead Project/Program reviews to ensure projects are delivered on time, as per cost targets and within quality specifications.
- Plan, budget, and manage the Manufacture Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance and NPI group costs in line with Corporate objectives
- Partner with other functional leaders to ensure manufacture-engineering activities are well integrated with manufacturing operations.
- Develop, modify, and implement company policies that affect immediate operation(s) and may also have company-wide effect.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 8-10 years of management experience.
- Minimum 10 years Management experienced in Electronics Manufacturing environment.
- Strong in identifying creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems.
- Effective interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate and influence for positive outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or any related field. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
- Experience in Lean and Six Sigma (Black belt preferred)
