Position: Engineering & Maintenance Manager

Salary: Up to RM15,000

Location: Klang, Malaysia

Lead the Engineering strategy aligned to the business growth and sustainability plan by ensuring plant and equipment can deliver optimal performance in the future.

With a high level of leadership directs, develops and implements a maintenance & reliability strategy to deliver optimum asset productivity.

Role Objectives include but are not limited to:

1.Equipment and Plant Maintenance and Reliability

• Develop and implement maintenance strategy to support all production lines to ensure equipment is reliable and functioning well
• Develop the future strategy of the equipment, plant capability and reliability through Manufacturing Excellence
• Develop Maintenance Systems towards Predictive Maintenance and Autonomous Maintenance
• Develop people capability to meet business needs

2. Engineering

• Develop and strategize engineering projects to enhance capability to support current and future business needs
• Plant improvement projects for safety and efficiency, in alignment with Manufacturing Excellence and Cost Efficiency initiatives

3. Plant Facility

• High Safety standards, good Safety setup and practices with Site Safety team
• Ensuring plant maintenance is at tip top condition
• Visual factory and conducive working environment, including canteen
• Ensuring Safety and Environment requirements, including Government Regulations.
• Ensuring continuation improvement on manufacturing capacity

4. Planning of all Preventive Maintenance activities, purchases and spare part inventory

Qualification and/or experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering in a related field.
• Minimum 13-15 years working experience, and 6-8 years in mid Managerial role in MNC company
• Experience in handling subordinates and Area Leads within the department
• Demonstrated experience in large change projects

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to RM15,000.00 per month
