SUMMARY OF ROLE
To perform equipment/process-related tasks in compliance with SOP / SWG / OPL / checklists such as mechanical and electrical troubleshooting; Preventive Maintenance (PMs), chemicals control & replenishment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Supports engineering evaluations for equipment development, cost reduction, yield improvement, and tool availability for production.
2) Assists engineers in mechanical yield improvements by the implementation of tools-related projects and modification/upgrading.
3) Performs investigation on equipment-related issues. Resolve the equipment problem, and plan and perform the corrective prevention actions.
4) Performs tool down troubleshooting and preliminary assessment of line issues
5) Provide reports detailing the progress, status, and outlook of the Engineering project/activity
6) Perform Preventive Maintenance on tools as per the schedule given by Equipment Engineer
RELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1) Diploma / Certificate in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering
2) 1-2 years of working experience is preferred
3) Related working experience from a semiconductor or PV factory is added advantage
4) Fresh graduate with a good attitude can be considered
5) Good working attitude and good disciplined
6) Matured, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
7) Good verbal and written communication in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
8) Computer literate
