About the Facility:
Gallup Indian Medical Center is a 78-bed hospital in Gallup, New Mexico, on the border of the Navajo Reservation. Clinical specialties at GIMC include Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Anesthesia, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Radiology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Psychology and Emergency Medicine. The workload at Gallup is one of the largest in the Indian Health Service with 310,000 outpatient encounters and 4,400 inpatient admissions annually. GIMC has the largest staff of all Navajo Area IHS facilities.
Physician Assistant Compensation:
- 1099- $130.00/hr
Outpatient Primary Care Job Details:
- Start Date: Mid June- Duration of contract 6 months with possible extension
- Shift: 9am to 7-9p, 8p to 6-8a, or 3:00p-1:30a
- Average Patient Load: 80-100 per day
- High Acuity, Level 3 Trauma
- 5+ years of relevant experience required.
