Responsible for the distribution, installation, operations, and troubleshooting of site distributed computing environment. Participate in hardware/software projects and deployment plans. Analyze work group systems and recommend solutions. Execute production processes. Perform/manage changes to servers/environment. Manage virus protection procedures on server. Drive day to day business needs by managing processes and/or workflow. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
Qualifications
Candidate should have the following skills or qualifications, and be able to demonstrate the following behaviours:
Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.

Qualifications
Candidate should have the following skills or qualifications, and be able to demonstrate the following behaviours:
3+ years of hands-on experience in customer support centers.
1+ year of experience in managing/leading support centers, support processes and operations.
Is flexible, a self-starter self-managed, and has excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Can multi-task, prioritize, and work with a geographically distributed matrix team.
Demonstrates strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates strong customer orientation and sense of urgency when dealing with issues.
Operational capabilities such as problem solving, root cause analysis, partnering with other support and engineering orgs (team player).
Has strong communication skills, including the ability to listen, question, interpret, and clarify issues in business and technical terms and communication to customers on known problems and/or issues.
Supplier and vendor management skills, ability to deliver through others familiarity with purchasing guidelines and processes, negotiation skills would also be an advantage.
Experience in Excel .
Broad knowledge and understanding of IT Operations and knowledge of Information Systems.
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
