Job description

• Plan, manage and execute logistics operations by working closely with internal team of Customer Service, Warehouse, Supply and Distribution Manager, QA, Sales, external team of logistics providers, transportation companies, customers driving excellent level of service/timely delivery aiming towards zero incident. • Implement and execute the best practice of logistics principles, policies and processes to support on service improvement and resolving issues concerning transportation, logistics systems, exports and product delivery. • Liaise with procurement and Supply and Distribution manager on receipt of raw material, delivery and logistic matters (packaging, storage, on-time delivery) while maintaining high levels of quality service within budgetary requirements and high level of safety awareness. • Monitor accurately on the Product Quality [lookout for drums dent, rust, correct labelling/Product Name/batch number, legible printing, pack size], quantity stated on the Delivery Order, Delivery Date and logistics providers. • Work closely with line-manager to select carriers, monitor service against performance criteria and ensure carrier compliance with company policies, safety guideline and procedures for product transit or delivery. To report to line-manager whenever unusual activity is noticed. • Ensure all logistics processes/activities are conducted with FIFO arrangement for all product inventory in the warehouse. • Engage, establish good relationship, highly familiar and correspond closely with all transport service providers, freight forwarders, domestic and foreign logistic companies and other delivery company. • Execute, organize and ensure all process from order received, internal liaison towards smooth execution and material control and intakes of all orders via capability in MRP, SAP or other IT system and customer/logistic data systems. • Have strong coordination with customer service [CS] team on the on-time delivery needs for all customers’ order requirement and keeping close tap on schedules of loading and updated delivery information from CS team • Have strong organizational capability, planning skills, full alertness on timely, high accuracy on completion and transmission of all sales documents, transport orders in relation to delivery. • Support Supply and Development Manager in developing the inventory and delivery management system and strategies
