1. Job Summary and MissionThis job contributes to Snowflake success by leading a team of passionate & energetic individuals to create and maintain the Snowflake Experience for our customers.
Store managers are expected to have intrapreneurial skills to run the store as if it belongs to them—from managing daily operations to taking responsibility for financial results. Our managers are front-of-house leaders, spending time on the floor to connect with team members & deliver WOW experiences to customers, and identify ways to drive results.
This role provides the opportunity to develop your own team & groom future leaders for your store.
2. Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
2.1) Leadership
a. Setting goals for the store team aligns with organization mission & vision & financial goals.
b. Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team members.
c. Displays a customer comes first attitude by training and holding team members accountable for delivering WOW customer experiences.
d. Drives the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the team members to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives.
e. Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Snowflake.
f. Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to team members to ensure smooth flow of operations
g. Provides coaching and direction to the team members to take action and to achieve operational goals. Constantly reviews store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to provide coaching and direction to the store team to achieve operational goals.
2.2) Planning and Execution
a. Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results:
b. Monitors and manages store staffing levels to ensure partner development and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain store operational requirements.
c. Utilizes existing tools to identify and prioritize communications and regularly uses discretion to filter communications to the store team. Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations.
2.3) Commercial excellence & analytical
a. Solicits customer feedback to understand customer needs and the needs of the local community.
b. Uses all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the store.
c. Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance
2.4) Talent Development and Team building.
a. Providing team with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams.
b. Actively manages team members by regularly conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve team members performance.
c. Challenges and inspires team members to deliver WOW customer experiences and achieve business results.
d. Develops and maintains positive relationships with team members in the district by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.
e. Ensures team members adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
f. Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools and programs as well as by finding new, creative and effective methods of recognition.
g. Utilizes and demonstrates effective management principles and practices to create and maintain a successful store team resulting in an environment where team members are valued and respected.
3. Qualifications & Skills ( To be successful in this role )
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years F&B work experience in a Managerial role.
- Familiar with at least 1 year experience in analysing financial reports
- Prior experience in inception of a new concept would be a plus point.
- Have the ability to handle multiple stores.
- Both intra/Entrepreneurial mentality with experience in a sales focused environment & knowledge of customer service techniques.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, mentor & motivate team members with professional maturity.
- Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations and make timely & good decisions.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong organizational & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
a. Work 9 hours a day inclusive of 1-hour break
b. Work 5.5 days a week & 1.5 day off.
