As part of our Field Services Graduate Program - Sales, you will be embarking on 3 rotations (6 months each) across our Field Services business unit. The role will first equip you with strong technical foundation as a Field Service Engineer, before moving into a Tendering/Project function and finally landing the role of a Field Service Sales Engineer. You are guaranteed an exciting journey ahead!

Mission
To join and contrbute to Field Services business. You will embark on a journey to first learn the foundations of Operations and eventually move into the Sales function.
What you will do:

st
rotation: Field Service Engineer (6 months)
- Building strong technical foundation and get hands-on learning experience on our electrical offerings (E.g. Power Systems)
- Provide customer service to our installed-based customers in maintenance and servicing
- Travel to customer sites as service contract or as circumstances dictate
- Diagnose and repair, to component level of products returned from the assigned region
- Perform site evaluations, scheduled and unscheduled site visits
- Support customers in installation, modification and repair of Schneider products
- Solving of Power System (Low Voltage and Medium Voltage) issues at customers’ site
- Interact with customers by phone/face to face depending on the level and type of support required
- Oversee the installation of Schneider product, repair and analyze a failed product or provide customer-site maintenance (Servicing supervision, Trouble shooting of control circuit of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage)
- Interact with end-users to explain the failure mode in detail
- Draft engineering failure analysis reports for customers with guidance from Engineering
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, practices and procedures at all times
2 nd rotation: Tendering/Project Engineer (6 months)
- Evaluate Tender Specification and develop customers’ requests into a Schneider Electric’s offer by proposing solutions that comply with the customers’ requirements in the most cost-effective manner
- Provide timely and accurate quotations as requested by Sales
- Be a single point of contact and accountability throughout the quotation during the RFQ (Request for Quote)
- Support Sales team by participating in clarification (if required)
- Liaise with Internal Product Manager and/ or External Suppliers’ for 3rd party products (if required).
- Alternative role will be Project Engineer (Depending on business needs)

rotation: Field Service Sales Engineer (6 months)
- Identify opportunities with existing and potential new customers and execute sales strategies to promote extended sales coverage including cross-selling.
- Create, plan and implement Power System’s growth initiatives through existing installed-base customers and business development.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
- Implement service strategy through installed-base coverage directly and through various channels
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
- Ability to initiate and close big deals negotiations of key contracts.
- Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluate data to ensure achievement of goals.
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
- Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.
- Ensure quality screening of opportunities and provide regular update in sales opportunities backend system.
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering / IT or equivalent - Engineering courses other than EE will be considered as well
- Graduated in 2021 or Graduating in Q1/Q2 2022
- Prior internship experience in Electrical industry will be a strong advantage
- Digitally savvy!
