This 1-year contract position is responsible for general operating expenses and capital expenditure closing and reporting in accordance with established accounting standards, AIA group reporting policy and statutory and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities:

Perform timely and accurate month end closing and reporting for general operating expenses and capital expenditure

Conduct expense reporting and financial analysis including budget variance review to facilitate decision making

Ensure timely preparation of monthly capital expenditure budget tracking report

Effectively communicate, collect and consolidate cost information from internal stakeholders and clarify on any variances regarding budget components

Liaise with Group Office, external auditors and internal divisions on general operating expenses and capital expenditure related matters

Perform other responsibilities periodically assigned by management
Minimum Job Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accountancy, and/or other related qualifications

Minimum 2 relevant working experience. Experience working in Financial Services / Insurance, especially in accounting and system, will be an added advantage.

Good in Microsoft Office especially in Excel

Excellent written and oral communication skills, i.e. English

Strong analytical and research skills with a meticulous personality

Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Demonstrate strong organizational / team work and interpersonal skills

Mature, proactive, resourceful and not afraid to be hands-on
