YOUR TASKS

Local IRB & Custom Authorities/ Consultants

  • Support in providing information required for annual tax return or authorities audit.
  • Bi-Monthly reporting of accurate and timely SST payment & returns.
  • Timely withholding tax payment & returns
  • Participate in quarterly cross function ISO audit and DPDHL internal audit.

External auditors/ reporting

  • Support in statutory reporting and external audit

Vendors

  • Ensure quality maintenance of accounts payable as well as compliance to PtP and procurement policies.

Banks

  • Support in treasury related matters e.g. update of bank signatories, banker guarantee, ensure adequacy of cheques to gateways for customs clearance.

Internal audit or controls

  • CRISP – Monthly collection of samples from cross functions, conduct review with Accounting Manager/ CFO for sign off before upload online. Generate any deficient controls for Accounting Manager’s further action.
  • Internal audit – support in cross function ISO/ internal audit; support in any audit required by DPDHL, local or tax authorities.
  • Validate petty cash submission by Petty Cash Custodian. Obtain approval from Accounting Manager before send the hardcopy of petty cash to SSC PtP team.

Other Department Coordinators

  • Coordinate with other departments’ coordinators to ensure T&E, Concur, Getlean, PR/PO (GRIR), Basware knowledge are imparted effectively for their execution.
  • Channel vendors or staff enquiries to SSC team.

Regional Office and the Hub

  • Support in Global or Regionalalignment projects related to RtR, PtP and SST.

Review

  • Regular review of Open PO, GRNI, AP Aging, Basware key indicators, Purchasing Compliance Results to ensure good quality of PtP.
  • Review process on continuous improvement and digitalisation initiative.
  • Support Ad hoc assignments given by direct manager.

Project Management

  • Undertake PtP process improvement projects.
  • Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department.
  • Plan, organize and direct and efficient and effective functional department.
  • Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
  • Consult performance appraisal.
  • Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.
  • Able to manage underperformer with confident.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Exhibits an execptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
  • Well- developed relationship skill and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and other business units.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, people development skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, highly motivated and result-oriented.
  • Software skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP).
  • More than 6 years progressive Finance and people manager experience, preferably have worked with Shared Service team.
  • Degree in Accounting/ Professional Certificationsuch as ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
