Job description

1. Tasked with technical, production process and administrative responsibilities in production of composite materials.
2. Oversee the production of composite materials or products, and to develop and institute programs or systems that enhance the end product.
3. Responsible for developing and choosing base resins, additives, and reinforcing materials that produce finished materials and to decide on the best manufacturing process.
4. Responsible for process-related issues as materials purchase, invoicing and communication with suppliers/contractors.
5. Ability to establish and support appropriate inventory supervision and carrying out policies/processes.
6. Lead in material testing to validate material properties and responsible for creating material specifications, coordinating materials testing with internal and external test laboratories, and reviewing, organizing, summarizing, and communicating results.
7. Support growth by optimizing the pultrusion process, challenging current pultrusion operating procedures and identify and propose new equipment, technologies and processes to promote safety, quality, and productivity.
8. Involved in management and planning of manufacturing activities and coordinating capital projects.
