STV views graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are looking for a talented graphic designer, to join our team. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to develop the appropriate style and layout for submittals or presentations. This position will be located in our New York, NY office.

Responsibilities:

• Work on a wide range of projects, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative designs
• Obtain input from the team to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent our firm, its internal and external clients
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with the marketing team to meet internal and external milestones and deadlines, which may include multiple simultaneous assignments
• Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that elevate design capabilities
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the firm and take written or spoken ideas or concepts and convert them into designs
• Continuously seeks out new trends and software design applications
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity and protect the branding
• Leverage best practices for content management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• A portfolio showcasing samples of work products
• Expert knowledge of current design software and skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final delivery
• Five or more years of experience
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) with expertise in PowerPoint and Keynote
• Experience working on proposals within the AEC industry is required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work overtime and travel as needed
• Desire to stay up to date on latest design trends
• Collaborate effectively with teams from concept to execution
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline
