Position: Head, People Operations


Own It


  • To provide both strategic and operational support to the Business on People Operation Matters
  • Ensure people issues are a key consideration when discussing and planning business activities
  • Implement change management strategy implementation within the firm including organizational design and capacity building
  • Liaise actively with the State People Managers across the Country to ensure people matters are closely monitored
  • Act as a Human Resource Business Partner to advise State People Managers on People Operation strategies and process related queries
  • Plays an important role in providing best advise to the Occupational Safety and Health, Corporate Integrity, and Security (Auxiliary Police) teams related matters within the Organization.

Build Trust

  • Provide career advice to employee and help them to develop and grow within the organization
  • Provide support during key discussions and process including managing difficult conversation
  • Active reporting to Senior Leadership Team on people matters within the Headquarters and State branches

One Team

  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team to anticipate future people needs and develop practical solutions
  • Ensuring communication & processes are aligned among the State People Managers in accordance with Headquarters practices

Move Fast

  • Enjoy working in a fast-moving transformation journey
  • Adapt, simply and act quickly based on the business needs
  • Monitor and strong comprehension of the Labour Law in Malaysia and to propose any changes to the Senior Leadership Team where required

Delight Customers

  • Excellent Customer Service skills and ability to translate company business needs and goals into People Operations capabilities needed to achieve results

Job requirements:


  • Minimum 10 – 15 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with local employment laws
  • Critical thinking and analysis with strong attention to detail
  • Significant experience managing engagements with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
