Your journey at become

Social media is at the heart of become's marketing mix: It's our audience's preferred medium to engage with our brand. As a Social Media Manager, you will own our regional social media mix and drive projects like new channel penetration, content diversification, organic traffic, and follower base. With strong support of 6 talented marketers at become, you will elevate our SNS and bring it to next level. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to build a world-class social media team from the ground up.

We're looking for a the most trend-aware Social Media Manager who can read people, talk ideas, and bring our brand to life online.

How you will have impact at become

In your 1st month, you will:

  • After on-boarding, you will take over the day to day process that includes planning and publishing the content across the current channels
  • Re-activate The YouTube channel, plan its content, and mange content publishing including setting up UTM tags, video titles and description
  • Audit the current social media activities, perform SWOT analysis and come up with a new social media strategy to increase the organic traffic and total follower base

Within 1-3 months, you will:

  • Own the influencers strategy and manage the day to day execution
  • Build a portfolio of supporting projects to execute the new strategy along with required budget plan for each project
  • Setting up KPIs for social media channels and monitoring them
  • Build Instagram and YouTube accounts for each country to amplify brand presence
  • Perform social listening to identify topics, trends, or hashtags that relate to our brand and target audience that can be an opportunity for become to leverage on for viral reach and extra website traffic

Within 3-6 months, you will:

  • Build a customer friendly chatbot to improve user experience with the help of product and marketing team
  • Expand become's channel mix beyond IG and FB to other social media channels
  • Start planning for strong community management that will get become involved in related brand or product discussions
  • Start growing our social media team across the region for a localized experience and fully scale social media activities

Qualifications

The must have's
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
  • An excellent command of English and copywriting
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting portfolio of growing social media presence with quantitative results that you are be proud of
  • Deep expertise in managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter is a must
  • Solid foundations with social media marketing strategy, target audience, content strategies, content creation, social listening and community management
  • Analytical capabilities with excellent understanding of social media KPIs and social media budget planning
  • Can build relationships external partners including influencers and other brands for content and B2B collaborations
  • In touch with the latest marketing trends and technologies in the social media space
  • An ear for consumer insights and needs; you get what makes people love us!
  • A strong understanding and connection with entertainment and media culture
