The Human Resources (HR) Business Process Program Manager reports directly to the Diabetes VP of Human Resources and will lead the execution and implementation of HR projects and initiatives that align with organizational goals and enhance the employee experience.

The position location preference for this role is Northridge, CA, or San Antonio, Texas, and will include >25% planned travel to other Medtronic locations.

A Day in The Life

  • Support HR-related routine activities, projects and initiatives, including policy formulation, calibration, organization and talent planning, onboarding, weekly reporting for support census and cost containment, employee engagement and culture, diversity and inclusion programs, leadership and employee development and HR generalist and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely resolution of employee queries
  • Coordinate and manage multiple HR projects simultaneously. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and performance metrics for HR projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency in HR operations.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and proactively communicate with stakeholders to mitigate project-related challenges.
  • Develop and deliver project related communications, training, and change management activities to promote awareness and adoption
  • Flexibility to travel up to 25%

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of human resources, business or project/program management experience with a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree with at least 3+ years.

Nice to Have

  • · HR assistant and/or generalist experience
  • Project management experience, including managing multiple projects concurrently, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Lean Six Sigma certification and/or experience a plus
  • Uses data and analytics to drive decision making and solve problems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience communicating complex information to diverse employee groups and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership skills, to inspires and motivates team members, foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture
  • Knowledge of learning and development fundamentals and training design
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
