JOB VACANCY
POSITION - IMPORT OFFICER
LOCATION - BUKIT RIMAU, SHAH ALAM
SALARY - RM 5000-6000
5 WORKING DAYS
Role & Responsibilities
The Operations are responsible for the quality of production after the customer/agent business is secured. The
customer/agent will gauge the quality of the company based on the performance of operations. This position is crucial for
the company to succeed on the long run.
 Receive the pre-alert from CS:
- Make sure full pre-alert is received and no document missing
- Make sure all instructions are there, such as (but not limited to): buying/selling/billing party/ delivery
address/forwarding agent/ scope of work/etc…
- Handover to clearance team without delays in order to prepare import clearance in due time
 Keep checking vessel arrival date and update all parties accordingly: customer, agent, etc…
 Send Arrival notice to customer and update if vessel arrival is changed
 Coordinate with clearance team for customs clearance and delivery.
 Make appointment with consignee for delivery.
 Reply or acknowledge any email within same day for any email received on/before 5PM.
 Prepare and send billing to customer within 3 working days after cargo delivered.
 Push vendors if invoices are late / missing and escalate to management for assistance if needed.
 Raise questions / comments if anything is unclear.
 Undertake ad-hoc task assigned.
 Submit all reports as requested by HQ / management within the dead line.
