Basic Job Functions:

Conceives, develops, and evaluates plans and criteria for the completion of process improvement projects and programs in a cost efficient manner.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements.

• Setup and maintenance of gauges.

• Responsible to develop, continually improve, and document robust solar module manufacturing processes to achieve the highest product performance in a cost efficient manner.

• Develops, documents, and enforces standard operating procedures and process description.

• Responsible to interface with other company, customer and supplier representatives.

• Plan process experiments, collects and analyses data and reports experiment results.

• Maintain effective communication levels and fosters Team Building.

• Exhibits a self-directed, proactive approach to problem solving.

• Domestic and International travel as required.

• Evaluate new proposed equipment according to process standards.

• Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.

Experience:

• 5 years Process Engineering or Integration experience in a manufacturing environment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s in an Engineering discipline or Physical Science Field or the equivalent.

Preferably: Data Science , Electronics, Microelectronics, Physics, Chemistry, and Materials Science.

Required Skills:

Technical:

• Proven quality skills.

• Hands on experience in thin film deposition (PVD, CVD), wet benches, thermal or laser.

• Sounds knowledge of semiconductor or photovoltaic device physics & fabrication process.

• Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite , statistical software (JMP).

• Data Analysts skill in SQL/Tableau/SAS/Python-Statistical programing. Knowledge and experience in large scale automated reporting innovation is preferred.

• Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards, statistical methods and SPC tools.

• Robust Engineering/Design of Experiments, Six Sigma, and FMEA . Knowledge and experience in process control improvement (Wafer fab, PV background) innovation is preferred.

• Knowledge of Engineering Techniques and Practices.
