WHAT WE OFFER
- Generate and/or evaluate lab-scale samples, testing for customer, technical programs, process and product research programs and, manufacturing support and provide relevant information for further, decisions
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment needed for production and, routine processing & property evaluation and supporting machine scale-up,work
- Maintain appropriate logs/notebooks and other records including, computer documents
- Provide internet and other information searches as needed for, problem solving
- Perform stoichiometric calculations for production using computer, programs or hand-calculations
- Understand and follow EHS, SOPs and Responsible Care rules, regulations and guidelines maintaining a safe work Environment
- Capable of managing multiple tasks, working effectively with more, than one technical supervisor, interfacing with other functions such as, manufacturing and research personnel, interfacing directly with, customers if needed, and providing timely results to assure the quality, of products shipped to customers
WHAT YOU OFFER
- Vocational training in chemistry (“Chemielaborant”) or equivalent, work experience in a laboratory
- Knowledge of common laboratory procedures and skill and, mechanical aptitude in handling laboratory equipment as well as, modifying/adapting laboratory equipment for specific development, programs
- Ability to multi-task while working independently with occasional, supervision
- Ability to analyze, review and summarize data in an effective, manner
- Ability to work in a team environment with a group of diverse, individuals
- Basic computer (e.g. MS Office and lab-specific software) skills
- Good technical and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment and follow safe work, practices (e.g. with chemicals)
