Job description
JOB SUMMARY:
To coordinates activities of Inventory Records and Cycle Counter. To review discrepancies, performs root cause analysis and implementing process improvement initiatives based on high impact prioritization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To ensure inventory management functions are carried out through Warehouse Management System by creating and registering internal movement, checking bin content, register pick and fail to pick process, etc.;
  • To ensure all stock accuracy are checked on a regular basis;
  • To ensure all preparation for count, cycle counts, checking and validating of count results, are completed as per schedule set by Inventory Manager;
  • To liaise with QC, Transportation and Customer Service team in solving any inventory issues such as shortages, incorrect stock and any other inventory issues;
  • To provide inventory reports, including fail to pick report, quarantine report, etc.;
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations at all times when operating in warehouse;
  • To achieve CDC standards and KPI’s are met as agreed with Management;
  • To ensure that Inventory Manger/Operations Manager are updated daily on accomplishments, daily tasks and concerns from all areas of Inventory Management within the CDC;
  • To liaise with system support IT team, on all system related matters;
  • Continuously look for procedural enhancements that will improve efficiency and productivity;
  • To assist in other operational functions as and when requested by management;
  • To ensure daily system allocations, system priorities and short allocations are processed on a timely manner and in accordance with CDC targets. (Mainly on orders manual allocation);
  • To monitor and to ensure stock accuracy both in system and physical;
  • To monitor, manage and investigate on the FTP report on weekly basis;
  • To investigate any errors or discrepancies, and to adjust and communicate to the relevant locations and staff on timely manner;
  • All documentations should be filed and store systematically within agreed time frames for easy reference and retrieval;
  • To monitor and supervise subordinates on the day-to-day activities as assigned by the manger;
Requirements;
  • Candidate must possess at least SPM or other equivalent;
  • Able to write and converse in English (able write & converse in Mandarin will be added advantage);
  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply, training will be provided.
  • Must be willing to work at Sek.22 Shah Alam.
