Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in ensuring compliance to GLP, GMP, HACCP, FSSC and Halal standards and requirements.
• Conduct physical, chemical and/or microbiological testing of incoming materials, in-process and finished products in accordance to the established SOPs and WI.
• Ensure all QA findings and results are recorded in respective forms and checklists.
• Ensure that the raw materials and finished products quality is within the specifications.
• Communicate immediately with superior on any FS/QA related matters and issues/abnormality observed during testing.
• Maintain the cleanliness in the laboratories by housekeeping or 5S.
• Calibrate the laboratory measuring equipment in the pre-determined frequency.
• Prepare standard test solutions and reagents for testing.
• Prepare samples for pre-shipment, regulatory requirements and external testing.
• Ensure the retained samples are kept in accordance to the requirement.
• Assist in providing training to new QA staff.
• Prepare daily reports, maintain record keeping and inventory for laboratory supplies.
• Perform other tasks and assignment as directed by superior from time to time.

Education and Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Secondary School / SPM (preferably Science stream) / “O” Level or equivalent.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
