The Dundee Bistro, an iconic upscale restaurant located in the heart of Oregon wine country in Dundee, OR is seeking a lead line cook to join our dynamic team as we scale up operations. Our ideal candidate is curious about food and wine, self motivated, has strong culinary skills and is a team player. Responsibilities

*High volume line cooking experience, all stations

- grill, pizza, salad, pasta and sauces and sautés. *Follow recipes/procedures to produce consistent high quality food items *Break down and portion meat and fish, general line set-up *Oversee other line cooks in the performance of their duties, expedite *Maintain clean and organized work area *Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies *Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation. *Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff *Relieve Executive Chef and Sous Chef from line duties when necessary

Qualifications

*Cooking and BOH experience, fine dining preferred *Excellent communication skills *BOH team management background a plus *Able to meet all scheduling commitments *Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs *Strong attention to detail *May be required to lift up to 50lbs *Must be able to work on your feet in a fast paced environment for sometimes long hours

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $24.00 - $30.00/hour.
