Live-in Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care:
- Live-in caregiver 8am-8am, providing 13 hours daily care.
- Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands
- Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
- Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Assist with toileting including the use of bedpan, commode or toilet
- Assist with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker and wheelchair and hoyer lift/gait belt on specified cases
- Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
- Provide routine skin care
- Measure and record vital signs as directed
- Observe and report all changes to RN
- Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
- Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice
- Excellent listener and an empathetic companion
- Provide clients with companionship and friendly, positive interactions

HHA Live-In Job Requirements
- Must have an active New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
- Must have at least one year of HHA experience
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Fluency in English
