Job Summary:

The C3CEN Afloat Asset Line provides Depot level sustainment of multiple command and control systems used onboard Coast Guard Cutters. The Sea Commander system installed aboard the National Security Cutters is a highly advanced, integrated system. On this contract, RiverTech provides project management, administrative and technical oversight support services to USCG personnel that provide sustainment support of the Command and Control system, called Coast Guard Sea Commander, installed on the National Security Cutters. This position shall assist USCG personnel located at Moorestown, NJ with efforts to ensure ongoing system support is provided for the fielded systems. Below is a sampling of tasks associated with this position that the selected candidate will be expected to perform:

Job Requirements:

  • Coordinate all test items required to conduct investigation of issues reported on assets

  • Provide Incident/Problem/Event Management support

  • Monitor EAL daily to ensure previously reported discrepancies are current and accurate

  • Inform the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) prior to implementation of revised planning and of any impacts to the cost, performance, or schedule Sustainment Support contract

  • Provide overall support in project management, technical direction, coordination, and administrative work to ensure that all Sustainment Support contractual requirements are properly accomplished

  • Review installation plans for deployment of system upgrades

  • Coordinate the review and provide technical recommendations on the Sustainment Support contract CDRLs to the COR

  • Review all Sea Commander Electronic Asset Log (EAL), (Remedy) entries for accuracy and completeness.

  • Monitor the CGFIXIT queue daily and assign tickets and/or work orders to the correct SME for testing, evaluation, troubleshooting and/or resolution of an incident, problem and/or event.

  • Provide support for software installations, ensuring adherence to software build plans and asset schedule

  • Participate in System Operational Verification Tests (SOVT) on assets and in the Coast Guard System Acceptance Integration Lab (CGSAIL) for installations.

  • Generate Time Critical Technical Orders (TCTO) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for build implementation; and provide engineering analysis and review of all TCTO’s for impact on Sea Commander and shall attend Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.

  • Daily work duties are performed onsite in Moorestown, NJ, however there are an estimated 13-15 travel events each year in support of this effort.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/experience with the Sea Commander functional operation or similar Afloat Command and Control System.

  • Knowledge/experience of internal software development processes.

  • Capability to provide Software Change Request (SCR) support to the USCG.

  • Capability to provide asset installation support to the USCG.

  • At least five (5) years of experience in developing technical programmatic documentation.

  • At least five (5) years of experience effectively communicating complex C4ISR concepts to meet the needs of the audience.

  • Shall be proficient in Remedy.

  • Shall be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications to include: Word, Excel, Power Point, Projects, and Outlook.

  • A Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) is required

  • Must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States and must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/experience with the Sea Commander functional operations is preferred/desired.

  • Knowledge/experience of Lockheed Martin internal software development processes is preferred/desired.
