Job description
- To manage and supervise the overall Administration and Human Resources (AHR) functions including human resource planning, manpower planning and recruitment, general office and factory administration, budget, employee welfare, industrial relation and security.
- To identify and review AHR department objectives and to increase level of productivity and implement cost saving activities.
- To work closely and assist department heads to achieve company’s business objectives and targets.
- To handle and supervise matters pertaining to expatriates and foreign workers’ affairs including work permit renewal, accommodation and government authorities’ requirements.
- To provide and supervise new employees hiring functions, training and development and employees’ welfare and benefits entitlement.
- To ensure company’s administrative policies, procedures and directives are implemented and disseminated.

- To identify and review AHR department’s business objectives and targets to improve productivity and implement cost savings measures.
- To liaise and communicate with relevant government authorities and statutory bodies in license and permit applications and renewals, visits, inspections and other related matters.
- To monitor and ensure compliance to all legal requirements including human resources, safety and health, immigration, environment and other government and local authorities.
- To check and verify payment for claims as per company’s policies and procedures, utilities bills and related to AHR functions.
- To supervise and monitor all aspects of security administration and landscaping maintenance within the company’s premise.
- To ensure review and timely renewal of Group Hospitalisation & Surgical, Group Term Life and Group Personal Accident Insurance Schemes and work closely with insurance provider to ensure efficient service delivery.
- To carry out and organize inquiry related to employees’ disciplinary problems.
- To carry out subordinates’ appraisal and performance review.
- To follow, maintain and improve all requirements as per procedure outlined under the Environmental Management System (EMS), Quality Management System (QMS), Safety and health Procedures and 5S.
- To carry out work assigned pertaining to EMS, QMS, Safety and 5S activities.
- To ensure subordinates follow company’s policy and procedures for good disciplinary behavior.
- To carry out other additional duties for company when required and directed by management or superiors.
