This position works in the Group Operations & Technology division, providing Business IT Support. The successful applicant is responsible for liaising with Business Units and IT Department to gather and analyze user requirements for General Ledger applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Business Units and IT to gather, analyze and evaluate user requirements for General Ledger applications & system enhancements.
- Prepare test plan, test scope for UAT and related tests for General Ledger applications.
- Provide first-level support and trouble-shooting of problems for General Ledger applications.
- Update documentation of User’s manuals, system related functionalities & workflow processes for General Ledger applications and other system/user related parameters.
- Perform and verify parameter-setting.
- Conduct of General Ledger system health-check for other activities related to IT projects/initiatives for General Ledger applications.
- Coordinate with users and IT to ensure that testing and related activities are ready and according to schedule.
- Assist business users and stakeholders on data mapping related to General Ledger applications.
- Prepare training materials and conduct training for system applications as and when required.
- Continuous improvement, learning and cross – learning sessions for team members.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Business Studies/Administration/Business Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 3-4 years of working experience in a banking and financial institution with specialization in credit or branch operations.
- Experience in user acceptance testing and planning is preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, through all levels of the organization.
- PC literate with knowledge in AS400 Query utility, SQL Query, Silverlake Retail Banking system and Microsoft Office Appliances.
- Possess analytical and critical thinking.
- Strong team spirit player with a positive attitude and having the drive to improve processes.
