Job description
General Purpose:
Provide marketing support and expertise to ensure the successful achievement of the business objectives for the
assigned area of responsibility (category applications, category communications, etc.). Contribute to the development of
short- and mid-term business strategies and initiatives designed to deliver profitable growth, with a customer-focused
mindset for the Ingredient Solutions division. Connect closely with cross-functional team members to design and execute
marketing initiatives, meeting established objectives and metrics. Understand and apply key business priorities and
processes to integrate across the business. Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to area
of responsibility and link these KPIs to divisional goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support's strategy execution of assigned area of responsibility (category applications, category communications,
etc.)
Assist in the development of EUC strategies that enable achievement of sales goals and financial targets.
Capture and analyze category/customer insights that will support SAMs build sales plans and presentations.
Implement strategies and keeps track of KPI's associated with the implemented strategies.
Partner with sales and R&D teams to provide high-quality sales support (selling tools, trend presentations, etc.),
ensuring alignment and consistency across the DFA Ingredient Solutions division
Coordinate with other DFA divisions, as requested, to provide marketing resource support on behalf of DFA
Ingredient Solutions
Supports EUC director with monthly results and KPI presentations.
Specific to category applications:
Support portfolio management of Beverage and Nutrition EUC's, from concept to implementation
Collaborate with RD & EUC director to develop and implement portfolio gap analysis and new product
introductions
Specific to category communications:
Collaborate with EUC leadership to develop and execute category growth strategies and EUC plans
Assist in the development of customer and market segmentation strategies through customer analysis,
global market analysis, and associated capability offerings
Utilize tools, reporting, and dashboard mechanisms to evaluate and communicate marketing tactic
performance
Partner with internal agency resources to support business strategies
Support & coordinate customer connectivity activities, including capability/concept meetings and
customer market presentations
Participate in training sessions, meetings, skill building, and professional development classes

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business; MBA preferred
2 to 5 years of Marketing experience
Food industry and/or B2B product management preferred
Certification and/or License – N/A
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Self-directed with a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency
Able to perform task and duties under minimal supervision
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Able to learn skills necessary to navigate additional informational systems
Demonstrated project management skills
Able to lead cross-functional project team
Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
Ability to create strong, positive cross-functional relationships
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Travel:
- 15%-25% (1-2 times per quarter)
