REQUIREMENT

Minimum Diploma

At least 15 years working experience in mechanical engineering as a in manufacturing plant.

Good leadership and communication skills

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Implement maintenance control system to achieve effective and productive maintenance of the machine.

Initiates and plans for improvement of working system and quality

Plan & prepare yearly plan & budget / capex for engineering

Plans the maintenance schedule, preventive and routine maintenance for all the electrical and mechanical systems for all machinery, company vehicles and heavy equipment.

Carries out fault findings and trouble shooting for all electrical and mechanical systems for all the machinery, company vehicles and heavy equipment.

Conducts general inspection and maintenance for the whole factory’s electrical system

Ensures that proper maintenance of machinery is carried out, plans and supervises periodical preventive maintenance of machinery, inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization

Ensures that work is carried out according to documented work procedures.

Plans and discusses with the management if there is a need for upgrading of machinery or working system, plans and supervises any modification work when required.

Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes, supervises, manages, disciplines and controls workers to ensure compliance with standards.

Ensures proper materials and consumable planning and forecasting.

Ensure all factory rules, regulations, working conditions, safety and health measures are properly designed, implemented and complied with according to group and statutory authorities’ guidelines.

Plans for training needs of personnel, resolves subordinate grievances or submit unsettled grievances for further management

Ensures proper data collection, storage and reporting for the sections.

Ensures safe working procedures, environmental and good housekeeping.

Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
