Job description

• To perform Mercury decontamination activity and monitoring work on site during plant turnaround period or project basis in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Plant.
• To assist Site Supervisor in conducting Mercury decontamination work and monitoring work.
• Shall be able to effectively communicate and use technical manuals/procedures and references.
• To report the Mercury decontamination work daily activity and monitoring result to Site Supervisor.
• To advice other workers on the safety and PPE requirement in handling Mercury and create awareness on the hazardous of Mercury Exposure to worker.
• To carry out work according to guideline and safe working procedures as per written in the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
• Respond to emergencies related to exposure of Mercury Exposure/Spillage on site.
• To perform scheduled waste management and housekeeping at site.
