Description

SAIC is seeking a Metrics and Data Analyst. The Individual shall manage and develop data visualization products for the DTRA Strategic Trends team for both internal and external Agency use. Current focus areas include countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), strategic competition, and disruptive technologies supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Work will be conducted on the government site at FT Belvoir, VA.

• Develop, design, and model data translating complex information into easy to digest and visually arresting graphics for publications, on-line platforms, and briefings.
• Work in common information sharing platforms such SharePoint and MicroStrategy Dashboards.
• Support data collection management, data analytics, retrieval, and archival for multiple programs.
• Assist with concept design, coding, developing content and modernizing efforts as new technology is acquired.
• Create information graphics and digital illustrations for a variety of DTRA mission-related products.
• Import information from sources such as Excel into MicroStrategy Dashboard to translate data and information into sophisticated visualizations.
• Organize and manage several simultaneous projects and oversee production of materials.
• Communicate directly with customers to gather objectives, review options, and present recommended designs, illustrations, and dashboards to leadership.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience. Master’s Degree and 3 years of experience.
• SECRET clearance is required. All applicants must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Ability to translate hard, complex concepts into easily accessible and understandable visual depictions.
• Proficient research and analytical skills
• Skilled in Excel, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), MicroStrategy Dashboard, MS Office Suite, SharePoint

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Esri Enterprise, ArcGIS software
• Military experience, or experience with contracting or the federal government a plus
• Understanding of national security and countering WMD issues a plus
• Master’s Degree in a related field
• Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
