Strong student interaction and conflict mediation skills

Previous At-Risk or In-School suspension experience

Able to work collaboratively with the school administration to develop and implement programs for At-Risk students
-
Must have NH para II certification or the ability to obtain
-
Monitor In-School Suspension with fair, firm and consistent discipline.

Demonstrate the ability to communicate with young people.
-
Request work for students assigned to the ISS room for the day.
-
Assist students with school assignments.
-
Make daily phone calls to families when students are listed as absent.

Work with school office and school counseling personnel to support students
-
Substitute in available positions when the ISS room is not in use.
-
Report any disciplinary matters to the Assistant Principal.

Performs other related duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Terms of Employment: 191 days per year
Qualifications:
Reports To: Assistant Principal
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Agreement between the FMRSD and the Fall Mountain Regional Educational Support Personnel Association.
Job Goals:
To support the Assistant Principal in the area of student support and discipline through the supervision of students assigned to the In-School Suspension room.
