Nursing Consultant, Program Review
$139,860 - $175,104 Annual Range
CCHCS seeks to fill a Permanent/Full-time Nursing Consultant, Program Review positions in the Nursing Services Infection Prevention and Control/Public Health.
Under the direction of the Statewide Chief Nurse Executive or designee, the Nurse Consultant Program Review (NCPR) is responsible for providing targeted assistance to the Infection Prevention and Control Nurses (ICN) and Public Health Nurses (PHN) at their assigned institutions. The NCPR provides program consultation and direction regarding nursing, public health, and infection prevention and control practices, procedures, clinical guidelines and standards of care to the institutional and regional nursing staff and other clinicians. The NCPR is responsible for working with the lead NCPR to develop policies, guidelines and decision support for disease prevention and control programs and other health programs. The NCPR will participate in ICN and PHN onboarding and trainings for ICNs and PHNs in their assigned institutions and operationalize the public health and infection prevention and control policies and procedures in the institutions. The NCPR will participate in the development and implementation of disease surveillance systems and program evaluation activities.
Please note: It is up to the hiring authority to accept Training and Development (T&D) assignments. If you are interested in a T&D assignment, you are not required to meet MQs; however, you must indicate T&D as your eligibility when applying.
