DHCP, IPv4, SNMP, Logging, ACL, ARP, MAC, Security Hardening, Etc.)
Other skills required:
- Manage & support Group Network Infrastructure (GNI) day to day operations to ensure network high
- Executive of the assigned projects to ensure successful the rollout of the projects
- Troubleshooting network problem and outages
- Scheduling network upgrades, collaborating with network architects on network optimization
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist Network Reengineering Services in design & execute new network architecture, technology
effectiveness & time saving
- Research, study & understand the technical aspect of various technologies, solutions and design to
- Design & maintain in country & overseas country offices network infrastructure
- Periodic review & enhancement of GNI to meet changing business requirements
- Ensure prompt & efficient provision of GNI design and enhancement at low operating cost
- Coordinate GNI project & ensure timely delivery
- Ensure any potential network challenges such as performance degradation, reliability & outage are
- Ensure handling incident, mitigation planning, damage assessment and corrective measures are address
- Maintain Group Network Services documents, SOP, procedures, guidelines, etc.
- Ensure GNI is compliance IT policies, statutory regulation and applicable laws.
- Provide cross support function within Network Services Structure
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including patches and hotfixes to address any
- Liaise with vendor and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
REQUIREMENTS
Formal Education:
Bachelor's Degree / Higher Diploma / Diploma in Information Technology
Professional Accreditation:
- Cisco Certification (CCNP)
- Cisco Certification (CCDP)
- Certified IP Engineer
- Certified IP Routing or IP Switched Network
- Certified Wireless Professional
- Certified Packet Analysis
Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):
- Minimum 4 years' experience in designing, implementing, supporting & operating network infra
- Technical knowledge of network troubleshooting on LAN and WAN, Designing and Implementing,
- Understanding on network protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF) and OSI or TCPIP Model
- Knowledge of networking – OSI layer and TCPIP suite and architecture (IPv4, IPv6, ARP, NAT, IPsec, ICMP,
- Knowledge and skill in implementing, setup, configure, administer, managed and troubleshoot Layer 2 &
DHCP, IPv4, SNMP, Logging, ACL, ARP, MAC, Security Hardening, Etc.)
- Knowledge and skill in implementing, setup, configure, administer, managed and troubleshoot Wireless
- Knowledge and skill using network sniffer tool to troubleshoot network issue, identify root cause and
- Knowledge and skill on Network Management System usage network log analysis, network trending and
- Knowledge and skill preparing technical network incident report and network analysis reports
- Ability to manage and deploy small network infrastructure project
