MENCK are currently recruiting Offshore Service Engineers based in Malaysia for worldwide assignments. The Offshore Service Engineer will attend worldwide service calls for the support, maintenance and installation of equipment within various industries including; Oil & Gas, Renewables, Deep Water and Near Shore Construction.

Duties:

• The commissioning, repair and maintenance on MENCK and our customer's equipment
• Briefing of Service Technicians into new equipment, instruction of these on common jobs
• Coordination of teams of local technicians during commissioning, repair or maintenance
• Pile driving with MENCK and customer equipment alone or supported by a team of other technicians
• Training of our international customers on our systems worldwide on site and in the factory
• Processing of new equipment installations as well as maintenance and repair orders

Required:

• Completion of an apprenticeship as a Technician, an Electrician, a Mechanic or similar
• Practical experience working in Hydraulics, Mechanics and Electrical Engineering
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, R&I flowcharts, circuit diagrams, hydraulic diagrams and flow charts
• Ability to manage multiple and fast-track priorities with a proactive and positive attitude with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation as well as working collaboratively within a team
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills supported by good attention to detail
• Proven track record of upholding the highest QHSE standards
• Ability to travel internationally and offshore as/when required
